Welcome to American Legion Post 1066 – Massapequa, New York
Founded on the proud traditions of service, honor, and community, American Legion Post 1066 has been a cornerstone of support for veterans, their families, and the Massapequa community for generations. Chartered as part of the national American Legion organization established by Congress in 1919, our post carries forward the mission of “mutual helpfulness”—serving those who served and giving back to our nation through local programs and initiatives.
At Post 1066, we believe that service doesn’t end when military duty does. Through our ongoing involvement in civic activities, educational programs, and veteran support initiatives, we strive to uphold the values of patriotism, loyalty, and community service.
